Seth Holmes, Director, St. Helens Federal Credit Union
"I was not sure what to expect with VLI Hawaii, as this was my first time attending,
and the first from our board. However, I am so incredibly happy that I decided to
attend. The speakers were amazing, the setting was perfect, and the overall program
was very well-run. I can’t wait to attend again next year!"
JohnPaul F. McGee, Director, Our Community Credit Union
"Attending the Volunteer Leadership Institute for the last six years has helped
to sharpen both my skills and knowledge as a director. The training, collaboration
and innovation provided by the courses and speakers are relevant to today’s ever
changing regulatory and social environments. Everything from topics and issues covered
to the speakers who are subject matter experts are top-notch and bring immediate
value- add to credit unions such as ours."
Michael Angel, Director, CFE Federal Credit Union
"Directors education is vital to the success of their Credit Unions. VLI is the
best place I have found to get a well-rounded and thorough experience. I have attended
other conferences for the past 20 plus years and NO other conference creates a better
educational experience. The team at VLI makes you feel that you matter."

Hawaiian music blended with American Jazz creating a genre known as Hawaiian Swing…..The
Wall Street Journal says "You’ve never heard a beat quite like this, either
in Hawaii or in Harlem. Kahulanui is a ferocious blast of swinging jazz. The sun
may be hot, but the music is hotter".
